What we collect, why, and the choices you have
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
This policy explains what information Seoniic LLC ("Seoniic", "we", "us") collects when you use seoniic.com and the Seoniic app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Seoniic researches keywords for your business and writes SEO articles for it.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, and your name if you give it.
- Business information: your website address and what you tell us about your business (what you sell, who you sell to, how you want to sound). We also read the public pages of your website to understand your business.
- Content we create for you: keyword research, market research, articles and your feedback on them.
- Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Website connections: if you connect a website (for example WordPress, Shopify, BigCommerce or Ghost) so we can send articles as drafts, we store the access details you give us, encrypted.
- Usage information: pages visited, buttons used, device and browser type, and how you found us (for example an ad), using cookies and similar tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Microsoft Clarity).
- Google Search Console data, only if you choose to connect it. See section 3.
2. How we use it
- To run Seoniic: research keywords, plan and write your articles, and deliver them to you or your website.
- To show you how your website and our articles perform in Google.
- To send you account emails, such as your articles, sign-in codes, receipts and important changes.
- To send occasional tips and updates. Every one of these has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep Seoniic secure, fix problems and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Google user data (Google Search Console)
If you connect Google Search Console, you sign in with Google and approve read-only access. Here is exactly what that means:
- What we access: your list of Search Console sites, and for the site you choose, its search performance: the searches it appears for, clicks, impressions, average position and the pages shown. We also see the email address of the Google account you connect, so we can show you which one is connected. We ask only for read-only access, so we cannot change anything in your Search Console or Google account.
- How we use it: only to provide features you see in Seoniic: your rankings report, which of our articles are doing well, suggestions for pages that are close to the top of Google, and (if you turn it on) skipping topics your site already ranks for.
- How we store it: the access token Google gives us is stored encrypted. Performance results are kept for up to 6 hours so the page loads quickly, then fetched fresh.
- Sharing: we do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or let anyone read it. When you ask for a suggestion about a page, the relevant searches are sent to our AI writing provider only to write that suggestion for you. We do not use Google user data to train AI models.
- Removing access: you can disconnect at any time in Seoniic, which deletes the stored access, or remove Seoniic from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Seoniic's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Seoniic, and only what they need:
- Microsoft Azure (hosting and database)
- OpenAI (writing articles and research from your business details)
- Ahrefs (keyword and search data; we send keywords and your website address, not your personal details)
- Stripe (payments)
- Mailgun (sending email)
- Unsplash and Pexels (stock photos for articles)
- Google and Microsoft analytics and advertising tools (section 1)
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our users or Seoniic.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your account and content while your account is open. When you delete your account, or ask us to, we delete your personal information and content within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
6. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of access details, and access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects your information.
7. Your choices and rights
- See, correct or delete your information, or get a copy of it: email us.
- Disconnect Google Search Console or your website at any time in the app.
- Unsubscribe from tips and updates using the link in any email.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser (some features may stop working).
8. Children
Seoniic is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and tell you by email if the change is significant.
